All month long we are focusing on CLEAN BEAUTY and it’s the perfect opportunity to highlight how CLEAN Àuda.B polish is. I know you’ve probably seen things like, “10 free” “Vegan nail polish” “PETA certified” ETC ETC. Well Àuda.B is all of these things & more! Let’s break it down...
- 10 FREE – What does this mean? This is referring to the nail polish being free of the 10 most harsh chemicals typically found in standard nail polish, including the Toxic Trio. Here’s a full list of everything our polish is free from: Toluene, Formaldehyde, Formaldehyde Resin, Camphor, Dibutyl Phthalate, Xylene, Parabens, Fragrances, Animal Products, and Phthalates.
- VEGAN / CRUELTY FREE / PETA CERTIFIED – our polish never uses any animal byproducts and is never tested on animals! I bet you didn't know animal byproducts were even included in standard nail polish. Did you know, that if you’ve ever seen “pearl” or “guanine” listed in the ingredients list, those things actually come from fish scales and are used to give the polish a shimmery effect? Crazy, right?!
- NON-TOXIC – this is also referring to the Toxic Trio, which includes toluene, formaldehyde, and dibutyl phthalate. Each of these chemicals along with others that Àuda.B is free from have been linked to harmful effects like respiratory issues, headaches and dizzyness, possible carcinogens, and reproductive harm. All you need to remember is that Non-Toxic polishes like ours are SAFE and can be used on pregnant women and children!
